Running Accomplishments:

High School : My average running time was mid to low 21's for a 5k. After highschool I ran a few 22's and stopped racing for about a year. I recently started racing 5k again and my best time so far is 23:27.

Short-Term Running Goals:

Keeping myself motivated and running every day. I want to get as close as I can to the times I was racing in high school for 5k's. I am also hoping to run my first marathon within the next few months.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Right now it seems more like a dream than an actual goal, but I would love to run the Boston Marathon. Right now, I am just focussing on smaller races and hopefully finishing my first marathon.

Personal:

I have been happily married for just over a year now. No kids, but we have a wonderful dog. She competed in her first 5k with me just a few weeks ago. :)

Explored a new (very small) portion of the bike path north of where I normally run. It was hot, hot, hot today! I ran right after I left the doctors today and was pretty much pain free. I can't wait to get back to that. Limited to every other day and back to the doc Friday morning, so hopefully there is some improvement soon.
